Brad Stevens Postgame Interview | Celtics vs Magic

Brad Stevens was interviewed postgame after the Celtics’ blowout win vs the Magic, 132-96. He talked about Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier, and the team’s effort overall.
Kemba tied his season-high with 32 points.

When asked about his play, Stevens responded that he “had good burst, looked good… obviously his injuries are no fun… he was great tonight.” He also commented on the “rest plan” for Walker this season. “The plan has been terrific… I think that he has benefited greatly from his own hard work… his execution of it is the key to it… it’s been challenging… he’s done a good job with this and he looks good.”

Stevens also spoke about Evan Fournier, who dropped 18 points in this one in his first return to Orlando since the trade. “I thought he looked really comfortable… he was engaged… he and Kemba really like playing with each other… we just haven’t seen that much yet… he looks a little bit more comfortable every night… tonight I thought he was great defensively.”

Lastly, when asked about the Celtics’ effort moving forward for the rest of the season, Stevens kept his response brief. “Six games to go in the regular season, we are what we are… all good things [tonight].”
