The Celtics return home to TD Garden to host the Chicago Bulls. After Marcus Smart was injured in Saturday night’s win over the San Antonio Spurs, Boston was going into Monday night’s matchup without their starting point guard. With Derrick White stepping up, the team needed to fill another starting spot, and turned to defensive center Robert Williams in his first start of this season; it’s his first start since the NBA Finals, marking a big step in his recovery process. Boston would go on to beat Chicago 107-99, notching their third straight win and their first win streak of the calendar year.
