Depleted Celtics Shock Hawks, Streak Grows to 8

The Celtics traveled southbound to take on the Atlanta Hawks on the road. Boston was already at a disadvantage before the first whistle, as both Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon were ruled out for the game. Again, the Celtics depth and bench players stepped up to the plate and delivered, outscoring the Hawks bench unit 44 to 23 on the way to a dominant 126-101 victory on Wednesday night. Boston’s win streak has grown to an absurd eight games, and they continue to be the best team in the NBA.
