The Celtics are back at TD Garden tonight for Game 3 of their first-round series vs the Brooklyn Nets. After going down 0-2, the C’s hope the energy from their fans can help build them back up.
After a solid defensive effort in Game 1, Boston only managed to contest 44 of Brooklyn’s 88 shots in Game 2. They also left the Nets open on 33 of their 38 three-point attempts.
Tristan Thompson was asked about the Nets beating up on Jayson Tatum in the first two games. He talked about the need for more energy and more physicality tonight:
“After Game 2, them beating the shit out of us…we gotta bring some life…especially with them bumping and shoving our star player…you gotta make them feel you.”
Tatum is available to play tonight after getting poked in the eye by Kevin Durant in Game 2. Kemba Walker is also available despite being listed as questionable yesterday with a bone bruise on his knee.
The game will tip-off at 8:30 PM tonight on ABC. Fans will be back at near full capacity for Game 4 this Sunday.
