The Boston Celtics kick off the final 23 games of their season with a road matchup vs the Indiana Pacers. For the first time in a long time, Boston had a fully healthy roster, outside of Danilo Gallinari. This season, the Pacers have taken a leap behind rising superstar point guard Tyrese Haliburton, the crown jewel of the Domantas Sabonis trade, and former Celtic Aaron Nesmith taking a leap in Indiana as well.
Both teams were shooting the lights out, and it soon became an offensive dogfight. Boston feasted on the offensive glass, pulling down a total of 51 rebounds on the night. The Celtics second-chance buckets were ultimately the deciding factor, as Boston pulled off a 142-138 victory in overtime.
