Celtics React to Marcus Smart EJECTION and Refs

The referees called back put backs by Aaron Nesmith and Tristan Thompson late before four Trail Blazers jumpers downed the Celtics and the referees ejected Marcus Smart for his collision with Jusuf Nurkic that resulted in a blow to his groin. The Celtics faded quickly after then Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown got injured after twisting each other’s ankles. Brad Stevens said he couldn’t challenge the Thompson play and the referees later said Portland got the ball in-bounds before he called timeout. Evan Fournier, Jayson Tatum and Stevens talked about the game’s end.
