BOSTON — CLNS Media will now become the leading online provider of audio and video coverage in the emerging cannabis industry.  The network will launch the Cannabis Media Network.

“I’m so excited to take part in this expanding industry,” said CLNS’ CEO Nick Gelso.  “Adding more variety to our eclectic content, is something that is very important to us.  Having Jimmy Young host and develop the Cannabis Media Network is something we are thrilled to be a part of.”

Young is a former Emmy Award winning sportscaster.  His introductory video located by clicking the cannabis icon on the CLNS Media dashboard introduces you to some of the biggest brands and websites who are pro-cannabis, including Bob Lobel’s New England Potcast.

Currently hosting In the Weeds on CLNS Media, Young is one of the biggest proponents for cannabis over the last two decades, interviewing some of the biggest names in the cannabis community.  Young commented on the content strength of the brands on the all-new Cannabis Media: “Leafly and Weedmaps from the west coast, are the two biggest brands in the cannabis industry, Green-Flower offers an online educational program that is outstanding, MJHeadline news, and Sensi magazine cover the emerging cannabis culture from coast to coast.”

CLNS’ early support for the distribution of podcasts like In The Weeds has organically evolved the Cannabis Media venture — with the goal of taking its reach and messages about cannabis internationally.
