Donald Trump Re-Assumes Role as Favorite over Joe Biden in 2020 US Presidential Election

In what many would deem as shocking, Donald Trump is once again the favorite to win the 2020 US Presidential election over Democratic nominee Joe Biden.  According to BetOnline.ag, Trump is -120 to win re-election, while Biden is +100.

The jump comes after Biden and the Democrats listless performance during their convention a few weeks ago, which had failed to generate any energy from the liberal base, while Trump received his own jump.

As reported by Dave Mason, over 86% of the action has been on Trump in the immediate 12 hours after the RNC.

Why in the midst of a pandemic, an economic collapse, never-ending social unrest and anxiety with foreign powers such China and Russia is the incumbent in position to win re-election?

For one, that is solely an indictment on the Democrats’ candidate.  Biden clearly is harnessing a bag of fatal flaws if he’s unable to briskly discard Trump in November.  With the debates coming up, everything is now trending in Trump’s direction.

Right now, it seems as if Biden is biding his time until the housing collapse.  Whether that will occur before or after the election could very well decide who’s president.  Biden will need something else.  Does he float the possibility of a UBI for American citizens to flip the momentum back to his side?
