FOXBORO, MA — The New England Patriots came up short against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday 28-22 to drop their record to 3 -8, but not much blame can be placed on the shoulders of sensational rookie quarterback Drake Maye.
Though he did throw an critical interception late in the game to seal the loss, Maye was sensational for most of the afternoon, throwing for 282 yards and 2 touchdowns to go with 27 yards on the ground.
CLNS Media Patriots reporters Taylor Kyles & Mike Kadlick believe this was Maye’s best game as a pro and that the rookie may be even better than advertised when the Pats made him the number 3 overall pick in this year’s draft.
