Evan Fournier was interviewed after the Celtics were eliminated by the Brooklyn Nets, 123-109. “Well it’s a very hard question to answer because you know the emotions are obviously high right now,” said Fournier on his upcoming free agency. “ The Celtics, it’s obviously an A+ type of organization. They really showed it and you know they were really excited to give me [opportunities] and they showed me a lot of love and everybody was extremely positive.”
Fournier said the team struggled a great deal due to missing key starters. “Three of them, it’s really hard. … It hurts us, a lot. I really would have loved to have a healthy team to compete against them during the playoffs, but I guess we will never know.”
Fournier will have a busy offseason with both his free agency as well training with the French international team for the Olympics.
