BOSTON, MA — Celtics Head Coach Ime Udoka, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown & Romeo Langford spoke to the media after the Celtics 98-97 win over the Orlando Magic in their first preseason game.
Coach Udoka was not happy with the team’s performance saying: “It was a pretty ugly win overall… but we made them late when it counted.”
Al Horford on his return to Boston: “This place is special, … I’m just happy to be back.”
Jaylen Brown told reporters his wrist feels 80-85% “It held up pretty good. At times it bothered me a little bit. But I’m moving in the right direction.”
Romeo Langford;s explanation on his jersey number change: “I just thought No. 45 was a little big, made me look a little chunky. No. 9 is a little bit smaller and kind of got a little bit of weight off me, helped me jump a little higher.”
