Celtics guard, Marcus Smart is known to be the “heart and soul of the team,” but he is also known as a player who struggles at the three-point-line, yet that doesn’t stop him from chucking them up. Before being ejected with 1:56 to go in the 4th quarter for “unsportsmanlike” contact with Jusuf Nurkic, Smart finished Sunday’s loss vs. the Blazers (129-119) with 11 PTS, 8 ASTS, 8 REBS, on 4-14 shooting including 3-9 from three-point-line. Smart was also coming off a suspension for one game for directing threatening language at an official vs. the Thunder game. While playing for the Blazers, Smart had to take over as the primary ball-handler, as fellow Celtics guard Kemba Walker was out with a strain.
