Kemba Walker was interviewed after the Celtics were eliminated by the Brooklyn Nets, 123-109. Walker did not play the last two games of the series due to a bone bruise. “It wasn’t the greatest season, for me personally,” said Walker. “I would like to be better, consistently. As far as where I’m at, I need time. I just need a little time to reflect, to get myself back together.”
On the season as a whole and his performance, Walker said “I would like to play better, more consistently. As far as my knee, I thought we dealt with it pretty good this season. Just an unfortunate happening during Game 2.”
Walker said he plans to make the most of the offseason and prepare as well as reflect.”I’m really planning on having a big summer, get myself feeling good again. It’s been a while since I’ve really had time off, so this is really an important time for me.”
