Celtics Blow Out Kings in Lopsided 128-75 Win

The Celtics look to get their second straight win as the Sacramento Kings come to TD Garden. Boston absolutely dismantled Sacramento in a 128-75 win, with Boston running away with the game in the 1st quarter and never looking back. The 53 PT win was the 2nd largest in franchise history.

Head Coach Ime Udoka said “When we’re guarding that well, taking care of the ball, we’re a tough team to beat.”

On the performance of Jayson Tatum (36 PTS) and Jaylen Brown (30 PTS), Udoka said “They are the two pillars of the team…when they come out and play with that intensity, everybody follows suit.”

Jayson Tatum said “We were just locked in…obviously they missed some shots, but we were connected – all five of us – on that end.”

“I would like to see the stats when our whole team is healthy,” said Josh Richardson, “I think we’re taking steps.”
