When we finally enter college, we think how much fun we will have with new friends, trips, and experiences and not about how many hours we will spend over a pile of textbooks trying to come up with something relevant to the topic. Higher education is a lot of stress: even though you can always get help with accounting homework at a professional service, be ready to ask your groupmates, «Can you do my homework for me? I`m exhausted». One of the best things that can help you to cope with stress and college problems (except for a good academic writing service) is sports.

Top popular sports to try in college

Participation in a college sports team is good both for girls and boys. You always keep fit by doing regular exercise; relieve stress accumulated at lectures, and find new friends that share your interests. The interest of students in sports is always on the rise as it gives you an ability to steam off using adrenaline rush. Playing sports in college, you receive many useful skills that make you a demanded employee in the future: these are teamwork, discipline, time-management, responsibility, concentration, communication, and even leadership skills.

After you ask your friend, «Can you consider write essays for me?» or just order an essay, consider these sports to cope with your stress and emotional pressure:

  • Basketball

This is not only one of the popular sports in college, but rather one of the top popular in the world. It takes the first places in all ratings describing favorite students sports in the US, and even those who don`t play usually admire basketball matches on TV. Choosing it, you can count of crowds of fans supporting you play and respect of your friends;

  • American football

Another trendy sports type that is most often chosen to play in college. This is an honor to play for a college football team; it gives you various benefits from getting good sports scholarship to building your resume for your future career;

  • Baseball

One of traditional US sports it takes a special place in the hearts of all Americans. Even though baseball needs to compete with football in terms of interest, it still has many fans among students;

  • Soccer

It is not easy to play, but it is still very interesting both for boys and girls. For this kind of sport, you will require analytical thinking and be ready for a lot of activity in the field. But once you feel the taste of a winery, you will forget about all difficulties;

  • Ice hockey

Even though it is played only in winter, it is still one of the top trendy and rich sports in the US. This looks similar to football in terms of rules except for the fact that you need to move on the ice, not on the grass. Once you find the balance, you will love this game;

  • Tennis

Even though it is not a team sport, tennis and ping pong are quite popular options when it comes to sports in college. With tennis you will burn lots of calories and build a perfect body while achieving results and taking part in different local and regional competitions;

  • Swimming or diving

This is not mentioned often in student rankings, but it still deserves your attention. Being a good swimmer, you can apply for a sports scholarship and receive other privileges by playing for your college. This sport has tremendous benefits for your health and is totally worth to be considered when it`s time to choose.
