KEEP UP WITH LATEST NBA TRADE RUMORS HERE ALL THE WAY TO 3pm DEADLINE…

Celtics Trade Jabari Bird to Hawks 3:01PM

Hawks Get: Jabari Bird

Celtics Get: A Roster spot

REACTION: The only way the Celtics could add players was through the buyout market and this allows them to do that. Marcin Gortat on line 1.

Sixers Trade Markelle Fultz to Orlando Magic – 2:45 pm

Magic get: Markelle Fultz

Lakers get: 2020 First Round Pick

REACTION: Uh… how did Markelle Fultz command a first round pick? Also, how about that Tatum trade?

Lakers Trade Zubac & Beasley to Clipper – 2:28 pm

Clippers get: Michael Beasley and Ivica Zubac

Lakers get:Mike Muscala

REACTION: This trade opens up a roster spot, allowing the Lakers to explore the buy-out market. This also precludes the Lakers from any remaining hopes Anthony Davis would sign prior to 3 pm trade deadline. For the Celtics… well, just think about that Clippers pick. Seems like LAC will not be making playoffs.

GASOL TO RAPTORS 2:15PM

Toronto get: Marc Gasol

Memphis get: Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, CJ Miles a 2024 second-round pick

REACTION: The Eastern Conference continues to improve drastically hurting the Celtics chances to improve in seeding before the NBA Playoffs. That said, there is finally a silver lining in a Eastern Conference trade for the Celtics. With the trade being finalized, the Grizzlies will likely finish inside the top 8 and thus improving the Celtics’ pick due from Memphis.

‘”It’s a business. There’s gonna be speculation, names thrown around your whole career, where you’re foinf to go in free agency, where possibly could you go trade discussions, if a team’s gonna buy you out or waive you. It’s all part of the business. When you understand that it’s all a business but you give 110 percent to whatever situation that you’re in the you learn to live with it.

REACTION: LeBron basically telling his teammates to stop pouting and deal with it. Right after rumors came out that Lakers had offered Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Brandon Ingram among others to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis, the team turned around and got smoked by 42 points.

BARNES TRADED TO KINGS 8:35pm

REACTION: More bad news as far as Celtics are concerned. The Kings acquire Harrison Barnes from Sacramento in exchange for second-year wing Justin Jackson and veteran power forward Zach Randolph. Celts own Sacramento’s pick and odds are looking increasing likely that Kings slide out of the lottery and into the playoffs.
