NFL Week 14 NFC Games to Watch – Betting Odds, Previews, and Predictions

Here are three NFC games to watch, and bet on, across the NFL this weekend.

It’s week 14 in the NFL, and we’re back with another weekly column outlining three games to watch across the league this Sunday.

As always, these odds, previews, and predictions are powered by our exclusive wagering partners at FanDuel Sportsbook. So head over there to make every moment more.

This week, we’re breaking it up by conference. Here are three NFC games to watch:

Odds – Lions @ Bears

Spread: Lions -3

Moneyline: Lions -176/Bears +148

Total: O/U 43.5

Storylines, Predictions, and Pick

I’ve got my eyes on Lions vs. Bears this weekend for really one reason and one reason only: Justin Fields.

With the Patriots sitting at 3-10 on the season, they’re priming themselves for a top-two selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. The only problem? The Bears will likely be ahead of them, and they may be taking a quarterback.

According to Bears inside Brad Biggs, “it seems like most signs point in one direction: the Bears selecting a QB at or near the top of the draft,” meaning they’ll be the ones with first dibs on Caleb Williams.

This of course, can all change if their current signal caller in Fields plays well down the stretch. The No. 11 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft has thrown 12 touchdowns to 6 interceptions this season, and was also a 1,100-yard rusher in 2022, proving he has the dynamic ability of a modern-day signal caller.

But back to the game. They’ll welcome the 9-3 Lions to Chicago this weekend. A team they lost to just three weeks ago 31-26, and will likely lose again to on Sunday.

I’m taking Jared Goff and Detroit with the points in this one, with the total going UNDER 43.5.

Score: Lions 24 – Bears 13

Side: Lions -3.5

Total: UNDER 43.5

Odds – Seahawks @ 49ers

Spread: 49ers -10.5

Moneyline: 49ers -620/Seahawks +460

Total: O/U 46.5

Storylines, Predictions, and Pick

The Seahawks are flying south on Sunday for a matchup against their division-rival 49ers.

Seattle comes into this one having lost three straight after a 6-3 start, and is now fighting for their playoff lives as they enter the homestretch of the 2023 season. They’ve allowed 31 and 41 in their last two contests, and with streaky offensive play this season will need to get their defense honed in if they want to make a run.

As for the 49ers, they’re now winners of four straight after a strange three-game losing streak in October. Quarterback Brock Purdy is back to his ‘game-manager+’ self, and their defense continues to dominate week in and week out.

Still, while San Fran is hot and the Seahawks are cold, it’s hard to predict a team to lose by double-digits in-division. I like Seattle with the points in this one.

Score: 49ers 24 – Seahawks 17

Side: Seahawks +10.5

Total: UNDER 46.5

Odds – Eagles @ Cowboys

Spread: Cowboys -3.5

Moneyline: Cowboys -196/Eagles+164

Total: O/U 51.5

Storylines, Predictions, and Pick

There’s nothing quite like watching the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, and luckily that’s what we get this weekend.

They’ll welcome the 11-2 Eagles to Jerry World as both teams look to get in the next punch in the heavyweight battle to the top of the NFC East.

I like the Eagles in a close one with the total going OVER 51.5.

Score: Eagles 28 – Cowboys 27

Side: Eagles +3.5

Total: OVER 51.5
