Miami Dolphins linebacker Bradley Chubb (2) sacks New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson (2) during the first half of an NFL game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Dec. 17, 2023.
It’s week 15 in the NFL, and we’re back with another weekly column outlining three games to watch across the league this Sunday.
As always, these odds, previews, and predictions are powered by our exclusive wagering partners at FanDuel Sportsbook. So head over there to make every moment more.
We’re breaking it up by conference again this week. Here are three AFC games to watch:
Spread: Dolphins -8.5
Moneyline: Dolphins -420/Jets +330
Total: O/U 36.5
An in-division battle between last week’s Offensive Player of the Week in Zach Wilson and the AFC East-leading Miami Dolphins is where we’ll start this one.
Yup— that’s right. Wilson won the honor last week thanks to his 300-yard, two-touchdown performance in the Jets’ win over the Texans last weekend at MetLife. But can replicate that this weekend in Miami?
Probably not, but the Dolphins come into this one off of a brutal, last-minute loss to the Titans after being up 27-14 with under five minutes to play.
That’s why I like Miami here. I think they need a bounceback after Sunday’s defeat, and it’s tough to bet with Zach Wilson for the second week in a row.
Score: Dolphins 34 – Jets 20
Side: Dolphins -9.5
Total: OVER 36.5
Spread: Titans -2.5
Moneyline: Titans -138/Texans +118
Total: O/U 37.5
Speaking of the Titans, they come into this one coming off of their last-second win against Miami, and now get to play against Texans’ third-string quarterback Case Keenum.
Keenum hasn’t started a game since 2021 with the Cleveland Browns, but went 2-0 in such contests. He’ll lead Houston’s offense after C.J. Stroud was ruled out with a concussion. Keenum jumped 2021 second-round pick Davis Mills on the depth chart.
I like Tennessee in this one. Mike Vrabel’s name has been floated as a potential coach on the hot seat, and Will Levis is playing hard-nosed football. Take the Titans laying the number.
Score: Titans 24 – Texans 14
Side: Titans -2.5
Total: OVER 37.5
Spread: Ravens -3.5
Moneyline: Ravens -174/Jaguars +146
Total: O/U 43.5
This Sunday night’s game between the Ravens and Jaguars is one with massive AFC playoff implications. While both teams lead their respective divisions (Baltimore at 10-3 and Jacksonville at 8-5), each one is competitive and they’ll need a strong finish to the season in order to lock in the berth.
The Ravens have won three in a row and seven of their last eight, and quarterback Lamar Jackson looks like he is back to his 2019 NFL MVP form. The former Louisville Cardinal has a combined 21 touchdowns this season, and Baltimore’s offense is leading the league in rushing with 157.1 yards per game.
As for Jacksonville, they come into this one having lost two in a row and looking to get back to their winning ways. I don’t see it happening, though. I like the Ravens in this one.
Score: Ravens 31 – Jaguars 21
Side: Ravens -3.5
Total: OVER 43.5
