Patriots hosted the Colts prior to their preseason scrimmage in a joint practice on Day 14 of training camp. This was the first time either team went up against another team in a different uniform and all eyes were on Patriots monster offseason move in WR A.J. Brown go up against the Colts star CB Sauce Gardner, and Brown got the better of him making him fall. The Patriots got solid performances all around from Efton Chism as well as Kyle Williams. But the biggest story of the day was that Patriots Star CB Christian Gonzalez was absent from today’s joint practice.
Andrew Callahan reports everything he saw and learned from Tuesday’s joint practice with the Colts, where Drake Maye threw an interception on his 1-minute drill, Christian Gonzalez was a no-show, an edge rusher finally popped and lots more.
