Lakers trade rumors are always swirling, and as we get closer to the 2024-25 NBA season beginning they are getting hotter! ESPN’s Dave McMenamin said one name to keep an eye on for the Lakers is Washington Wizards center Jonas Valanciunas. Valanciunas signed a 3-year deal with the Wizards in 2024 NBA free agency, but could be a prime Lakers trade target around the 2025 NBA trade deadline. Meanwhile, the Lakers did sign a big man, bringing in former Tornto Raptors and Arizona Wildcats center Christian Koloko on a two-way contract. Koloko missed the 2023-24 NBA season with blood clots but is back healthy and ready to make an impact for Lakers head coach J.J. Redick.
