– The Knicks traded for Karl-Anthony Towns last week in a deal that included Donte DiVincenzo and Julius Randle heading to Minnesota. – Shams Charania announced he is now the lead NBA Insider for ESPN, taking over for Adrian Wojnarowiski. 

– P.J. Tucker and the Los Angeles Clippers are stepping away from each other in order to find a solution. Tucker is unhappy with his role on the Clippers and would like to be traded. Tucker’s contract has a 2024-25 cap hit of $11.5 MM. 

– ESPN’s Tim MacMahon speculated that a Jimmy Butler trade could be the next big player to be on the move. Miami Heat trade rumors have quieted down around Jimmy Butler but could pick up at the NBA trade deadline.
