Should Jayson Tatum Play in the Olympics?

Jayson Tatum committed to play for Team USA in this summer’s Tokyo Olympics. Tatum suffered from COVID and exhaustion throughout the condensed NBA season, went deep into the 2020 Playoffs and played in the 2019 World Cup. Some are worried that playing in the Olympics could hinder recovery or even be unsafe. Bob Ryan and Jeff Goodman reacted to his commitment, with Jeff unconcerned about the safety given Tatum’s age, and excited about the possibility that Tatum could recruit Bradley Beal.
