Team USA Reacts to Bradley Beal missing Olympics due to COVID

Po It was reported today that USA Basketball is working to replace guard Bradley Beal on the team’s Olympic roster ahead of trip to Japan. Beal entered into health and safety protocols.

Popovich responded to who could replace Beal: “Bradley, there’s no doubt he’s a huge loss… there’s no next Bradley Beal, just like there’s no next Damian Lillard or next KD. All these guys are different. So, maybe a utility infielder of some sort.” Coach also provided an update on Celtics star Jayson Tatum saying he: Tatum “is on the practice court now with Coach Udoka” after missing last game with knee soreness.
