The NBA will vote on new fines to prevent load management and excessive rest by NBA teams during the regular season. If adopted, the rules will ban 2+ stars from resting on any given night, defined as players who made All-Star or All-NBA teams within the past three years.
That only impacts Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, so Bobby Manning doesn’t see a significant hindrance on the Celtics.
