The first of two-straight games between the Bruins and Flyers will kick off Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
According to Betonline.ag the Bruins are favored by a goal and a half and -200 odds on the money line. The over/under is set at 5 1/2 goals.
A week and a half after beating Philadelphia in a shootout and then dismantling the Flyers 6-1, the two teams face off for the third time this season.
Philadelphia will still be without center Sean Couturier for the game. On the other end, Bruins star David Pastrnak will skate in his third game of the year after missing the beginning of the season.
Prediction
The Bruins looked dominant less than two weeks ago against this same Flyers team. The only notable differences between the two squads this time around is Boston’s addition of Pastrnak to the lineup.
I would expect the Bruins to not only win, but also cover the 1 1/2 goal spread.
While Carter Hart struggled in the 6-1 defeat, I’d be cautious to expect another blowup in net this time around. For that reason, I would favor the under on 5 1/2 goals.
