Drew Butler and Keith Stewart of Betonline.ag preview the upcoming PGA Golf Championship, including some picks and predictions. The event kicked off today and will run through Sunday, May 23.
The road to victory this year goes through Rory McIlroy this year according to Betonline.ag (+1200). John Rahm slides in at the second spot (+1400), while Justin Thomas and Jordan Speith tied for the third-best odds (+1600). Past that, three golfers are tied at +1800.
Despite the closely contested race at the top of the board, Keith chose to look a bit further down the latter. Viktor Havland’s odds to win this year stand at +2200, but Keith loves it.
“I’m taking the guy that’s number three in the FedEx Cup,” says Keith. “He’s fifth in strokes gained total, fourth off the tee, 22 in approach, he’s got the stats.”
