James Harden was interviewed postgame after the Nets’ series victory over the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. He talked about being the first Net with a playoff triple-double since Jason Kidd, the next matchup vs the Milwaukee Bucks, and the current chemistry of the big three.
Harden became the first Net since Jason Kidd to record a playoff triple-double. This was his reaction: “J-Kidd is one of them ones… one of the most elite point guards this league has ever seen… shoutout to J-Kidd… I just came here to make an impact on the game… I just take what the defense gives me.”
Harden was also asked about the upcoming series vs the Bucks. This is what he had to say: “Personally, myself, I’m thinking about them right now… obviously we know how good they are… Thursday, I think, we go watch film and prepare for them.”
Lastly, Harden was asked about how he feels the big three played together, as well as their overall chemistry: “How do you think we looked,” he began. “I’m just joking… obviously there’s some things we gotta work on… for me I pretty much know, but I think communication goes a long way… as long as we’re aggressive… that’s all that matters… if us three are on the same page and playing well, and we can communicate with the rest of the guys… I take our chances against everybody.”
