Steve Nash was interviewed postgame after the Nets’ win over the Celtics to clinch a first-round series victory. He talked about how it feels to advance, the challenge with Milwaukee ahead, and gave an injury update on Jeff Green.
Nash talked about how it felt to win his first playoff series as a head coach: “The feeling, the feeling is one of excitement to move on, and to face a great challenge in Milwaukee, to get prepared, and to go do it again… we’re excited… James was great tonight… controlled the game, made shots… he was terrific.”
He also touched on the next series vs Milwaukee, and the challenge ahead: “We just want to focus on the next game… our staff has already started scouting… we’ll have a gameplan prepared.”
Lastly, Nash was asked for an injury update on Jeff Green. This was his response: “No update on Jeff… I believe he’s progressing well… things are positive, or moving in positive direction.”
